Erie Gives Day 2026
Tuesday, August 11, 2026
This year, every Erie Gives Day donation to Early Connections will support the MACC Renovation Project.
Help Bring Early Learning to the Mercy Anchor Community Center
Early Connections is partnering with the Mercy Center for Women to renovate space inside the Mercy Anchor Community Center, creating a new early learning center that will expand access to quality child care for children and families in Erie.
All 2026 Erie Gives Day donations made to Early Connections will be directed toward the MACC Renovation Project. Your gift will help move this project from renovation to enrollment and support the creation of safe, nurturing classrooms for infants, toddlers, and preschool children.

Why This Project Matters
This project is about more than opening a child care center. It is about responding to a larger community need and bringing early care and education into a location where families already have access to housing, services, and support.
Once complete, the renovated space will include three classrooms serving infants, toddlers, and preschool children. The project will also create new full-time jobs and help provide families with reliable, high-quality child care in a location where additional support is needed.
The Mercy Anchor Community Center is a hub of support. By adding early learning classrooms to this location, families will have access to child care in a place where other important services already exist.
